At Selah, we’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs so you can enjoy your time in nature together. To ensure a comfortable and clean environment for all guests, we’ve outlined the following guidelines.

Dog-Friendly Stays

Dogs are welcome in designated accommodations with prior approval. A non-refundable pet fee applies per stay to cover the additional cleaning required after each visit.

We kindly ask that guests traveling with dogs select a pet-friendly unit when booking.

Service Animals

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), trained service animals are always welcome at Selah and are not subject to pet fees or restrictions.

Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability.

Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy animals are not considered service animals under federal law and are subject to our standard pet policies and fees.

While no documentation is required, we may ask the two questions permitted by law to confirm service animal status.

Pet Guidelines

To ensure a peaceful and safe environment for all guests and wildlife, we ask that:

• Dogs are never left unattended in accommodations unless crated

• Dogs remain leashed at all times while outdoors

• Excessive barking is avoided

• Guests clean up after their dogs promptly

• Dogs are kept off beds and furniture unless protective coverings are used

Selah is located in a natural environment with wildlife and uneven terrain. Guests are responsible for their pet’s safety at all times.

Cleaning & Damage

Guests are responsible for any damage or excessive cleaning required as a result of their pet’s stay.

This may include, but is not limited to:

• Deep cleaning for odors, hair, or stains

• Damage to linens, furniture, or structures

• Flea or pest remediation if necessary

Additional charges may be applied to the payment method on file if these conditions occur.

Safety & Behavior

For the safety of all guests and staff:

• Aggressive behavior toward people, other animals, or wildlife will not be tolerated

• Selah reserves the right to require removal of any animal that poses a risk or causes significant disruption, without refund

Liability

By bringing a pet onto the property, guests agree to assume full responsibility for any injury, damage, or disturbance caused by their animal.

Guests agree to indemnify and hold Selah harmless from any claims, liabilities, or expenses resulting from their pet’s presence.
